Hey so Yesterday I got the Revlon Colorstay and Im shade 410,my Friend is a shade LIGHTER and got 400 . As the Numbers go higher the Colors get Darker RIGHT?
I'm an NW43 in MAC and I think this shade might be alitte to dark for me... I have to see.Revlon ColorStay Foundation colors?

I love the revlon colorstay foundation! The coverage is awesome but it seems like i cant never find the right shade!
i currently tried 340 early tan but it is waaay to pink. Is natural tan(one shade before) just as pink? or is it more yellow under toned? are golden beige and warm golden yellow toned?

Yes natural tan is way more tan/yellow than pink. ALWAYS open the cap, take a tiny amount around the rim and rub it on the inside of your wrist to make sure it will match if you're not shopping at a store that will let you return it if it's not right. I have probably saved a lot of money, gas, and disappointment that way. =) Good luck!

umm they sound good but me personaly i use covergirl it helps make your lashes look fuller and pretty!

I love UD24/7 eyeliner, but it would not last me a long time and it as SO expensive. Mary Kay has an eyeliner that I started using, since it was cheaper, and also worked as well. You also don't have to sharpen it.

I just bought this yesterday in Medium Beige in the Oily/Combo skin formula from Wal-Mart for only around $10. You can also buy it at any drugstore, but I think Wal-Mart is cheapest. I got it as an alternative to my usual MAC. The two are very a like, but I personally like Revlon's better! It has great coverage, it covers redness and my old acne scars very well. ( I use Missha BB cream underneath it). Be sure to moisturize your face before you apply it though, it can make dry areas look flaky. I apply it using a foundation brush, it works great with it. It doesn't come on cakey if you don't use a lot. It is the best drugstore foundation, I highly recommend it! I've been using this foundation for years and now suddenly, it just comes off when I blot the sweat my nose.

I think colorstay would work very well for you. It is not too thick, but you have to apply it fast because it drys quick. It conceals blemishes very well, more than any other foundation out there that I have come across. From what you have described about your skin, I think you will love it. =)

L'Oreal tests on animals. :( So even if it WAS good, would it really be worth it?
I haven't tried Revlon's, however, a few friends of mine have. They love it. Revlon also doesn't test on animals, so that's great. What probably made your skin itch was the bismuth oxychloride in L'Oreal's ';mineral'; foundation. Revlon's list of ';mineral'; ingredients contain bismuth oxycloride, sadly. I haven't tried Revlon's, however, a few friends of mine have. They love it. Revlon also doesn't test on animals, so that's great. What probably made your skin itch was the bismuth oxychloride in L'Oreal's ';mineral'; foundation. Revlon's list of ';mineral'; ingredients contain bismuth oxycloride, sadly. But, it can cause nail polish to not adhere very well, and prematurely chip off. One of the most common, and most effective ways to help slow this process down is to always make sure your nails are squeaky clean prior to applying polish. The first step is to remove the dead skin on your nails otherwise known as your cuticles. This is not the living skin that is above your nail at the as many people mistakenly believe. It is the dead skin which forms on the base of your nails as your nails grow out from the nail matrix. Use a cuticle pusher and some cuticle remover to gently yet thoroughly remove the excess dead skin from your nails. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after this step. Then wipe your nails clean to remove oils and other contaminants. You can use acetone, nail polish remover, or even 99% isopropyl alcohol for this purpose. Simply moisten a cotton ball, and wipe your nails thoroughly. Be sure to avoid touching your nails with your fingers after you have cleaned them to avoid transferring oils back onto your nails. Apply a high quality base coat followed by two thing coats of polish, and finish with a layer of high quality top coat. Clear polish is not the same thing as top coat. Always use high quality base coat and top coat since the cheaper ones that are available will not work as well. You don't have to spend a lot of money on them, but at the same time - don't skimp either. It can get cakey on me. I hate the packaging because there's no pump. The coverage is good though if you don't mind people knowing you have foundation on. It hold back oil well, but not for long. After eating you will still have plenty of color on your lips, but it will be faded so you will probably want to reapply. This product is not moisturizing, but you can't put a balm over the product because it will come right off. I like the sheer colors better than the regular ones. The sheers last just as long, and I think they look less thick and more natural.

I haven't personally tried these brands but I have friends who have. They said the Revlon one was really really good, she luvs it... it goes on smooth and stays on all day. The other girl said she used the Almay one and liked it and it worked great on her oily/combo skin, made her skin look like she'd applied powder when she hadn't used powder, and never made her look shiny throughout the day. But, she has sensitive skin and it made her break out a little until her skin got used to switching brands. So i went and got it the other day, being pretty pale i got it in ivory.
I got the one for combo/oily skin, and due to the coverage im hoping it'll cover uneven skin tones and my freckles.
so what's your experiences with it, did you find yourself going orange.

That is one of there most popular brushes, Im not sure if I like this foundation, maybe its because I can't seem find my color. overall its a good, it covers nicely

That's because not everyone knows how to apply it. Mine never smudges.
I believe all pencil eyeliners smear. That's why I use MAC fluidline. I love it because I can use it on the top and bottom.

I love this foundation, for 6 months i was using mac studio fix in NC30, but after reading a few reviews of the revlon colorstay foundation, wanted to give it a try, and it wokrs perfect, I actually like it better than my mac studio fix, it feels so soft and smooth, i feel like i dont have foundation at all and still gives me a full beautiful coverage. I really love it, I will be saving $15 dollars from my budget, so i'm so glad I found this foundation. will definietly recommend. but I also think that because we all have different skin tones it might not work as well for others as it works for me, but give it a try is a really good foundation. I dont like the fact that it doesnt come with a pump, because it would be much better if would have one, since sometimes you can waste product, but anyways, this is my favorite for right now.
i just use my fingers, its way easier. make sure they're clean though dont want to transfer any bacteria to your face

You know, loads of volume, length and curl. This mascara actually just adds length, a little bit of volume and curl, and separates your lashes. It's not a bad mascara, but doesn't do what you expect it to. I hope I helped!
I haven't tried the mascara, but I've used the eyeliner. And for me, it works awesome. It's never smudged on me once, and it delivers perfect, intense colour, so I totally recommend it to you.

I'd try the sand beige shade. if that's too dark i'd try ivory.
i'd say you're probably not the buff shade, as it looks to have more yellow undertones, and the sand beige, and ivory look more like they'd work with your pink undertones, like an NW foundation would.

The difference between Revlon Colorstay Combo/oily and Dry/normal?
I have the dry/normal one even though I have combo skin, and was wondering if there was any difference in the color or the consistency or the coverage? I didn't get the combo/oily one because I read somewhere it has ALCOHOL in it, and I'm using retin-a so I don't know if it will have bad reactions to it.. I have light skin so I don't really look at the other colors, so I couldn't tell you the name of one. Just put the color next to the skin on the underside of your wrist, match it to that.
i think that foundation is pretty much the one thing you shouldn't but cheap. I've tried almost every foundation they sell in like, CVS lol. you should get Makeup Forever foundation. Literally, its THE most amazing product i have ever tried. It looks really weird in the bottle (its almost like jell-o) but you put it on and its pretty much flawless.

it's the only one if been using over and over because it works so well for me. it only comes off easily for me because i wear contacts and blink a lot and put drops in.. etc. lol you can find it anywhere where they sell revlon! i recommend it, it works great!
as for a color, i have brown eyes and i used Black/brown,

get brown because black is really intense. i was talking to my sister and i told her that i needed liquid liner, she said that she bought a smokey eye kit. she doesnt use black liner and she said that she had an extra one. so she gave it to me. thats how i discovered it and it will probalby be the only liquid liner that i use because its the only one that i found that works. [btw im wearing it right now haha]. also i found it to be better than one that i bought for $11.
I absolutely LOVE Revlon Colorstay Waterproof eyeliner. I use it every single day...winter and summer.
I have brown eyes, so i usually get the black brown to bring out my eyes...but i also use black for a more dramatic look.
This is such a great product. It glides on smoothly and does not smudge. I think that the waterproof is better than the regular, even if your not going swimming or anything.

i love it!!
it's the only one if been using over and over because it works so well for me. it only comes off easily for me because i wear contacts and blink a lot and put drops in.. etc. lol you can find it anywhere where they sell revlon! i recommend it, it works great!
as for a color, i have brown eyes and i used Black/brown,

get brown because black is really intense. i was talking to my sister and i told her that i needed liquid liner, she said that she bought a smokey eye kit. she doesnt use black liner and she said that she had an extra one. so she gave it to me. thats how i discovered it and it will probalby be the only liquid liner that i use because its the only one that i found that works. [btw im wearing it right now haha]. also i found it to be better than one that i bought for $11.
I absolutely LOVE Revlon Colorstay Waterproof eyeliner. I use it every single day...winter and summer.
I have brown eyes, so i usually get the black brown to bring out my eyes...but i also use black for a more dramatic look.
This is such a great product. It glides on smoothly and does not smudge. I think that the waterproof is better than the regular, even if your not going swimming or anything.

I'm looking for a discontinued lipstick. It's been a couple of years now, but i can only find other shades from the line. The one i'm looking for is revlon colorstay earth 18. the lipstick container is a long black tube with two or three gold colored circles near the middle of the tube.

It depends what you want to cover.
I do find it's thick %26amp; covers my redness but it doesn't look very fake. You can build it too as it dries quickly. I'm not sure how it'd cover any birthmarks etc. The only way you can find out is to test ;)
If you want to cover up scars %26amp; birthmarks go for Dermablend (I think?) or try one of the ones that cover up these, like Cliniques %26amp; Estee Lauders. IDoes Revlon Colorstay have THICK full coverage? i really want that?
the coverage on this foundatiion is pretty good, it does not feel thick on your face, but it covers very well. you can hardly feel this foundation, its like your not wearing any at all. id say its not SUPER thick coverage, but it covered pretty much all my blemishes and I did not use concealer or nething.the only thing is they do not have a wide variety of colors, so many ppl have been saying they have had to mix colors to get the right one. there are more reviews on it at makeupalley.com. thats where i looked it up and finally decided to buy it, but you can look at the reviews on there for yourself.

An oil cleanser will solve all your problems! I use MAC's Cleanse off Oil. It is amazing, removes every last bit of makeup. Don't be scared of using oil on your face, the oil emulsifies when you rinse it off. It will not break you out. There are other oil cleansers out there, if you don't want to spend a lot you can make your own. Look up the oil cleansing method.Everyone who uses revlon colorstay foundation. I like the applicator from the Revlon Color Stay better than the NYC one, and sometimes the NYC liquid liner tends to flake. I'd go for the Color Stay. Good luck!
NYC liquid liner was my first liquid liner and I loved it. I bought the wrong color the first time (Pearl black), but it still looked good. It had pretty good staying power for its price and overall I liked it. I'm not a fan of Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in general because I've had bad experiences with the Colorstay pencil liner, and I heard that the liquid liner was barely better. If you want to stick to your budget and save money, get the NYC, and if you want to go a little higher try the Almay liner or the L'Oreal liquid liners (those are good!)

yes i have tried it...i would say its good but not the best..it didnot stay upto 16 hours really, but was good enough to stay for a long time...apx 8 hours for me (as my skin becomes really oily)...coverage was also nice and the good thing is it comes in variety of colors that can suit your complexion...u should give it a try..

Revlon Colorstay eyeliner pencil fragrance?
Hey guys,
I own the revlon colorstay eyeliner in charcoal %26amp; there's a fragrance to it.
A fragrance that burns my eyes %26amp; makes them dry %26amp; sensitive to light.
Has anybody else suffered the same problem with a revlon colorstay pencil? Or is it just me?

It didn't block my pores. I used it for a few years. It could be what's causing your breakouts. Try using something non-codmogenic. It won't clog your pores.

It is a good foundation, it stays for a reasonable amount of time. It is important that you set it with a powder after you apply it. Also moisturize before you apply the foundation.
If you are having problems covering a scars apply a concealer just on the scars before the foundation that way you cover it better than if you just applied the foundation alone. Good luck!

it really depends on your skin type...liquid foundation with a built in moisturiser is a better option for dry skin.
for combination skin i would reccomend the dream matte mousse because it not as good for super dry skin but not for oily skin so its in the middle.
and if you have oily skin i would reccomend maybe a powder foundatrion or compact followed with blotting papers to get rid of all that extra oil off your skin.
they are life savers.

yes its kinda waterproof but if you want it to stay put all day and resist water even better then I recommend investing into a primer such as toofaced shadow insurance and urban decay primer potion. If you dont want to spend too much money on a primer, l'oreal has a cheap primer called decrease and that works fine.

I have tried both and I prefer colorstay over the dream mousse. The dream mousse give a light medium coverage and I do not like that with my foundations. However an upside to this foundation I do like the final look after applying to liquid and powder.
When it comes to the Revlon Color stay, I just love it. It gives me a full coverage without looking all cakey which is another huge plus. Not to mention I always put my foundation on at like 8:00 in the morning and by the time it's time to take a shower and go to bed (which is around 10:00) it is still on. I would suggest for you to try the revlon and if it doesn't work for you, you can always go back to maybelline.Maybelline dream liquid mousse, or Revlon colorstay?

So today I bought revlon colorstay foundation in combination/oily. It looked ok on my face, but when I took a picture, my face looked totally white compared to my arms. If the foundation has SPF in it, then it'll make your face appear white when you use flash. The lighting of the room you're in may also make you face look totally white.
Your face may also be a different colour than your arms. (My face is a bit lighter than my arms because my arms TAN from wearing tees). So if you think the colour matches your skin, then it's probably right!
